The Making
02. CAD Design
Every line begins here. Our CAD balances relief height with a comfortable profile.
- Lion: beaded rim, sculpted mane and muzzle.
- Elephant: architectural silhouette with trunk & tusk detail.
- Target profile: approx 19.8 mm width × 15.0 mm height × 8.0–8.8 mm overall thickness.

03. Lost-Wax Casting
We don't use mass-production rubber molds. Each batch is created via lost-wax casting for crisp, nuanced edges. Wax grows → invested → burned out → precious silver cast → quenched. This preserves hairlines in the lion's mane and facets on the elephant.
04. Hand-Finishing
Sprues removed, surfaces planished and brought to life with dual finishes: a soft satin field under a high-polish relief (and micro-bead rim). Lattice is de-burred for a snag-free underside.
05. Mother-of-Pearl Base
Ethically sourced mother-of-pearl discs (Ø 13.6 mm, 1.2 mm) are selected for even luster. We use a mechanical anchor + jewelry-grade bonding for stability (micro-pins/seat + adhesive) without stressing the shell.
06. 1-Micron Gold Plating
A premium plating stack for longevity: clean → activate → copper strike → palladium barrier (nickel-free) → 1 μm 18K gold → protective e-coat. This is substantially thicker than standard 0.05–0.3 μm fashion plating.
07. Assembly & Fit
A hinged clamp slides over a standard shirt button and snaps gently into place—no sewing, no piercing, no damage. Interior grooves stabilize against movement; the beaded rim frames the motif.
